Fluval Biomax Bio Rings 500g

These ceramic bio rings give helpful bacteria somewhere to settle in your Fluval filter. The intricate network of pores inside each ring creates the conditions those bacteria need to colonise and stay active.

Water passes freely through the media, so contact time stays long enough for biological filtration to do its job. Suitable for both freshwater and marine set-ups.

Key benefits

• Complex pore system supports thriving colonies of beneficial bacteria
• Greater capacity than most other biological filter media
• Allows good water movement for the right contact time
• Helps reduce and control ammonia and nitrate
• Works in freshwater and marine aquariums

How to use

Place the bio rings in the biological stage of your Fluval filter.
