Exitel Plus Worming Tablet for Dogs

A broad-spectrum tablet wormer for dogs that can be bought without a prescription, and the strongest option available in that category. It deals with tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms and whipworms.

It is the generic form of the well known brand 'Drontal' and comparable to other generics such as Endogard Plus. There is no need to fast your dog beforehand, so the tablet can be given whenever it suits you. Regular worming matters, because plenty of dogs show no outward sign of an infestation and fleas can carry tapeworms. Common signs, when they do appear, include poor condition, vomiting, diarrhoea and a pot belly in pups. Treating your dog also helps stop worms spreading to the rest of the household.

Ingredients

Praziquantel 50mg, Pyrantel Embonate 144mg, Febantel 150mg

How to use

• 2.5kg dog = quarter tablet
• 5kg dog = half tablet
• 20kg dog = 2 tablets
• 30kg dog = 3 tablets

Each tablet protects against worms for up to 3 months, so repeat the treatment every 3 months to keep cover in place.

Safety information

Use in pregnant dogs should follow a benefit-risk assessment by your vet. It is recommended not to use Exitel Plus during the first 4 weeks of pregnancy.
