Api 5-in-1 Aquarium Test Strips 4pk

Checking your tank water does not need test tubes or reagents. These strips give you a reading on five key parameters in seconds, so you can see how your aquarium is doing before problems reach your fish or plants.

Each strip tests pH (acidity/alkalinity of your water), Nitrite (NO u2082), the toxic by-product of the nitrogen cycle, Nitrate (NO u2083), the end-product of waste breakdown, Carbonate Hardness (kH), the buffering capacity that helps stabilise pH, and General Hardness (gH), the overall mineral content important for fish health.

Key benefits

• Five water parameters checked with one dip
• Colour pads compared against the supplied chart for readings in seconds
• Spots hidden water problems before fish look stressed or unwell
• Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums
• Pack of 4 tests for spot checks, water changes or troubleshooting

How to use

Dip a strip straight into the aquarium, swirl it a couple of times, then take it out and hold it flat while you match the colours to the chart. General Hardness (GH) and Carbonate Hardness (kH) are read immediately, followed by pH, Nitrite and Nitrate after about 30 seconds.
