Royal Canin Labrador Retriever Adult Dry Dog Food 12kg

A complete dry food made just for Labrador Retrievers from 15 months of age. The recipe works on the issues this breed meets most often: putting on weight, stress on the joints, skin and coat condition, and eyesight in later years.

Labradors love their food and gain weight easily, which adds strain to the heart, joints and general health. Energy is kept in check and L-carnitine is included to help the body use fat and hold on to lean muscle. The doughnut-shaped kibble is designed to slow eating down, which helps guard against gulping too much and bloating. Because a Lab carries a big frame, calcium and phosphorus are set at measured levels to keep bones dense and strong through adult life. Added glucosamine and chondroitin help keep cartilage hydrated, support how the joints work and ease inflammation, which matters as Labs get older and hip and elbow trouble becomes more likely. The thick, water-resistant coat relies on the skin producing healthy oils, so Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, chelated zinc and copper, vitamins A and B and biotin feed the skin from within. An antioxidant blend with lutein, zeaxanthin and vitamins C and E helps look after your dog's sight with age.
