Shih Tzus can be prone to skin trouble, so this diet supplies Omega 3 fatty acids to help limit irritation, along with sulphur from amino acids and key vitamins that reinforce the skin's natural barrier against everyday environmental irritants. To look after the breed's long, flowing coat, it includes high quality protein for hair regeneration plus sulphur amino acids and Omega 6 and 3 essential fatty acids. Because lower activity levels can lead to protein fermenting in the gut and bigger, stronger smelling stools, the recipe balances soluble and insoluble fibres to support digestion. The small, L-shaped crescent kibble is easy to pick up and suits the breed's distinctive teeth and jaw, encouraging chewing, while sodium tripolyphosphate and green tea polyphenols help reduce plaque and tartar.
