ProRep Springtail Food 150g

In the wild, springtails graze on the fungi that grow on rotting plant matter. Cultures can be kept going with fish flakes, boiled rice or mushrooms, but those foods tend to leave waste behind and make feeding harder to judge. This is a tidy, straightforward alternative.

The food is made from denatured and stabilised yeast, formulated to supply the nutrients springtails need for healthy, productive cultures. It is simple to use, produces no waste and keeps well for a long time.

How to use

Every 2 to 3 days, sprinkle on enough food to keep the springtails going for roughly 12 hours. It is eaten completely, so there are no leftovers or decaying matter to pick out. That keeps contamination down, extends the life of the culture and lowers the chance of a crash caused by poor conditions.
