PetSafe Stubborn Dog In-Ground Fence System

Some dogs test every boundary, and this in-ground fence is built with them in mind. A buried wire lets you shape the containment area to suit your own garden, so your dog can run and play while staying inside the zone you set.

The collar works through tone, vibration and static correction, which makes it a practical choice for strong-willed dogs and for dogs with hearing difficulties. As your dog approaches the wire, the collar gives a tone and vibration warning first. If your dog keeps going, a safe static correction reinforces the limit.

Key benefits

• Designed for stubborn dogs and those that are harder to train
• 500 ft of wire included, covering 1/3 acre, and expandable to 25 acres with extra wire (sold separately)
• Collar offers 4 adjustable static levels along with tone and vibration modes
• Waterproof collar suits dogs from 3.6 kg with neck sizes 15 to 71 cm
• Unlimited dogs can share the system using extra Stubborn Dog Receiver Collars (sold separately)
• Fit it yourself, usually a weekend job with a second pair of hands

How to use

Bury the boundary wire around the area you want to contain, then connect it to the transmitter and set the collar level to suit your dog. Most owners finish installation in 1 to 2 days, so plan it over a weekend and ask a friend to lend a hand. Use the included flags and training guide to teach your dog where the boundary lies.
