With the new microchip cat flap from Petsafe only your cat can enter your home. PetSafe® Microchip Cat Flap has been designed to allow your cat easy access to the outside world whilst keeping other troublesome cats and animals out of your house. Using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, it works by reading your cat’s unique microchip ID without the need for a collar or accessory.

Description

This microchip cat flap lets your own cat come and go freely while keeping other animals outside. It reads your cat's unique 15-digit FDX-B microchip using RFID, so the flap only unlocks for pets you have programmed in.

Up to 40 cats can be stored, which suits homes with more than one pet, and a manual 4-way lock gives you control over when the flap is in use. A draught excluder helps keep the cold out, and a low battery indicator tells you when it is time for new batteries.

Key benefits

Selective entry that opens only for a registered microchip or a Petsafe Microchip Cat Door Key, keeping strays and wildlife out
Works with 15-digit FDX-B microchips (134.2 kHz) and major brands including Datamars / PetLink, HomeAgain, AVID, 24 PetWatch, Banfield and AKC Reunite
Stores up to 40 microchipped cats for multi-cat households
Dual auto-latch design with reinforced security
Manual 4-way lock: in-only, out-only, open or fully locked
Draught excluder for better insulation and a low battery indicator for peace of mind

How to use

The flap detects your cat's microchip, or an optional Petsafe Microchip Cat Door Key, and unlocks only for programmed pets. Fitting is a DIY job into most wood, PVC and uPVC doors using the supplied cutting template and quick start guide. For metal, glass or brick you will need the Microchip Installation Adaptor, and for a wall fitting you will need the Petsafe Microchip Cat Door Tunnel Extension (both sold separately).
