Juwel Charcoal Sponge Compact Super

This filter sponge from Juwel carries active charcoal, which binds odours, discolouration and harmful compounds in aquarium water. Because the charcoal sits in a sponge, water passes through evenly and the medium offers a large working surface.

It is also a handy choice once a course of fish medication has finished, as it helps clear any leftover traces from the tank.

Key benefits

• Active charcoal binds odours, discolouration and toxic compounds
• Sponge format keeps flow through the medium even
• Large, effective surface area for filtration
• Useful for removing residual medication after fish treatment

How to use

Fit the sponge into the filter box of a compatible Juwel filter system and replace it as part of your usual filter media maintenance.
