Juwel Carbon Sponge Standard 6.0

This replacement carbon sponge is made for Juwel internal filters and fits the Rio 300 and Vision 260/250 aquariums. The active carbon inside traps chemical impurities as water passes through, so they are held in the sponge rather than left in the tank.

Keeping chemicals out of the water also protects the helpful bacteria living in the blue filter sponges. Bear in mind that a carbon sponge left in place for too long can start giving those chemicals back, so replacement every 4 weeks is advised. Your filter's instruction manual has the full maintenance details.

Key benefits

• Absorbs chemical impurities from aquarium water
• Helps keep bacteria cultures in the blue sponges working well
• Direct fit for Rio 300 and Vision 260/250 tanks
• Supplied as a pack of 2

How to use

Fit the carbon sponge into the filter and replace it every 4 weeks, as leaving it in longer can release the absorbed chemicals back into the water. Please observe the maintenance guidelines in your instruction manual for further details.
