Fluval Carbon 3 x 100g

Activated carbon supplied in three nylon bags, each holding 100 g, for use in freshwater and marine aquariums. The highly porous inner matrix holds a large surface area, so organic waste is trapped for good while liquid wastes such as urine, dyes and other impurities are drawn out of the water.

This low-ash, research-grade carbon adsorbs heavy metals, odours, discolouration, organic contaminants and pollutants, leaving tank water clear and sparkling. It will not raise phosphate levels in the aquarium.

Key benefits

• Very pure activated carbon suited to both fresh and salt water
• Porous matrix structure permanently traps organic waste
• Strips out liquid wastes including urine and dyes
• Removes heavy metals, odours, discolouration, organic contaminants and pollutants
• Leaves water crystal clear without raising phosphate levels
