Fluval 2Plus Polyester Filter Pads

These polyester pads are made for the Fluval 2Plus internal filter. They sit inside the media cartridge and trap the very fine particles that cloud aquarium water.

Pads are replaced rather than cleaned repeatedly, so the filter keeps working through a large surface contact area.

Key benefits

• Captures extremely fine debris for clearer water
• Designed to fit the media cartridge of the Fluval 2Plus filter
• Large surface contact area for effective mechanical filtering
• Simple to slot in between the two foam pads

How to use

Rinse the Polyester Filter Pads thoroughly before use and insert into the centre of the media cartridge, between two foam pads. To gain full benefit from the large surface contact area that the filter allows, remove the pad once it has captured the extremely fine particles, at the latest after 1 to 2 weeks. To ensure retention of the beneficial bacteria required for biological filtering, never change all filter media at the same time. Always add Cycle to the aquarium water after replacing the pad, to speed up the colonialization of beneficial bacteria.
