Chinchilla Sand 1kg Vitakraft

Chinchillas keep their coats in order by rolling in fine sand, and a bath each day helps their fur stay soft and silky. This mineral sand has naturally rounded grains that are gentle on the coat.

It also suits smaller rodents that enjoy a sand bath.

Key benefits

• Mineral sand made specially for chinchillas
• Also suitable for other small rodents
• Leaves fur naturally soft and silky
• Rounded grains that are kind to the coat

How to use

Place a bite-resistant, sturdy dish filled with a layer approx. 3-5cm high of "Sandy Special" in your Chinchilla's cage every evening for about 30 minutes. Once the bath is finished, close the dish or take it out of the cage so the sand does not become soiled. Empty the dish once a week, clean it and refill with fresh sand.
